About a week ago I was dusting in my sons room. I was thinking about when my DSis died. I couldn't give her any support as I had to go with my DDad when he was airflighted to a different hospital. I was wishing she could know how much I wish I had been with her. As I was dusting I knocked a bunch of books off the shelf and something fell out of one. I picked it up and it was a bookmark with a poem about What is a sister? The gist of it was that a sister is the one person you can count on! I know that this was a sign from her that she knew that I did all I could for her.

My FIL passed away in 1997. He was in the Army durring WW2 and they started out writing to each other. He and my MIL had been married for 54 years, and were deeply in love right to the end. I hoped that she was with him, and they were in each others arms again.

A couple of weeks after her passing, my hubby and I were outdoors at home doing some things, when suddenly two old Army Planes flew over. They circled each other, did loops, blew smoke designs, right over our property. It lasted about 30 minutes, then, as quickly as they came they left. Of course we stopped what we were doing to watch the "show." We watched the paper for days to see if there had been any fly overs or exibitions scheduled for that day or weekend, but never heard anything.
I think he was telling us that she made it, and their old love was going strong again. Rainbow

My brother passed 12/26/07 and I have really been struggeling. I had a dog tag with his picture on it. I have not taken it off. Then when I woke this morning (after praying for a sign that he was ok, and I would be ok) the tag was off the necklace. Everything was intact and I looked at the necklace and there is no other explanation for why it came off. THe chain was still hooked. It was as if he unhooked it and took the tag off and then rehooked it around my neck.

My handsome Son died Jan. 11th 2008. And he loved bald eagles.
He and myself worked together in 2006 in AZ on a bald eagle project. The week we buried him I saw so many bald eagles, it seemed they were everywhere I went. And this morning when I first woke up it was like i could feel him in the room with me comforting me and letting me know he is ok. We are part native american and when we were moving his things out of his house I found his medicne bag and now I keep it with me everywhere I go.

My gran who I loved dearly passed 22 March 2005. She always smelled lovely. Chanel No 5 and baby powder.
The evening after my second daughter was born in Feb 2006, I was lying in the maternity ward reading late at night when suddenly I just smelled this aroma of Chanel and powder and I knew my gran was there. It happened at home last year as well. I was watching TV late one evening and the next thing this lovely perfume and powder aroma came from nowhere. It is lovely to know they are all around us.

Exactly three weeks after Vince died, he caught an opossum. We would feed cats that were dumped on our property and we had problems with racoons and opposums eating the cat food. In order to prevent the animals from spreading diseases to the cats through the food, we set up a "relocation" program with the racoons and opposums. Vince set up two live traps to catch the animals. He had caught 35 racoons and opposums in two months. He set on of the live traps in the fall, leaves would blow into the trap, and we decided to leave it set & clean in up in the spring. On January 5, 2008 my father checked on my house that morning and found a huge opposum in the trap. Vince was the last person to set the trap. I do believe that it was a sign that he is still watching over me and taking care of me.

I have not seen any signs to say my husband is ok but I have a weird story, it was December 13 2007 the day of my husband autopsy and I found on my fathers answering machine a message, i do not no what the phone number was that called it or even when the call was made but there was a message and it said "Why?" and It was my husbands voice taht said it. and that was it. I like to feel as though he is with me but I have no proof, just a message asking me "why?"

I don't see anything but I get this feeling everything is ok.I feel he is still with me when I need him the most.I think I see shadows out of the corner of my eye,but I really can't comfirm it.I spoke to a medium and he had told me things only he and I would know(personal things)he said our loved ones are always with us and they ask us to ask for signs from them.I know there are some fakes out there but this one I found to be right about alot of things.

I think we get messages alot we just don't pay attention to them. My mom and her sister both passed away within a short time of each other. I was in a hotel that my family often stays at and was sitting, thinking of the 2 of them, missing them both. Next thing I heard the operator page 2 employees, one had my mom's first name & the other my aunt's first name. And my aunt's name was Celeste, not the most common name. Oh they were telling me they were there all right. No doubt about it.

I think maybe there are signs a lot of the time, but we dont know it. I only learned of signs through this site - & have been more aware lately. I have always felt when my husband was with me, and this was confirmed by a medium I went to - especially when my husband told me I must start to let go of his clothes! If I lose something, I ask John to find it - and he usually does. Yesterday, I was annoyed because I couldnt find a necklet thingy that I needed to wear. It appeared right by my computer, one that I lost ages ago! I would have seen it there before, it just appeared! The medium was very reassuring, not a charlatan at all, and someone I found from a DS referral...absolutely brilliant but hard work - as it was one and a half hours of taking down messages! not only from my husband - have yet to listen to the tape as my recorder is broken. They are with us, in an instant, so I believe, if we need them, and at happy and sad times.....amazing and so lovely....Cathrynn X
