Joseph, I'm not sure that her brother used very good sense in sending you that e-mail. Why did he send it? To punish you? To make you feel horrible? If so, he did a good job of it. I see no GOOD reason for him to send that to you. I think it was a very cruel thing to do. He could have advised you of her death, but he sure didn't have to tell you what the note said, etc.
I'm so sorry for all this Joseph. You don't deserve this. I will keep her in my prayers, but she must have been unstable to have done this. No one person has the power to force another into suicide. She had made her mind up already, but was just looking for a scapegoat. Then you came along. Good grief.
Don't hold this in your psyche ~ toss this out. It will eat you alive if you keep it. You are not responsible. God bless you, and take care of yourself. Peace, Lee
