Hello,
I lost my dad to cancer on April 19th of this year. The first few weeks there were tears, sure, however I think I was in shock through it all and it was not until these last few weeks that this immense sadness seems to be hitting me really hard. It is the slow realization that he is gone and not coming back. That when I have something to text him or tell him there will be no answer.
This is not currently my concern however.
My concern is my husband. We have been together 16 years, he is my sidekick, a true love. Out of the blue last weekend I felt distant from him. Like, isolated, a million miles away. I started telling myself that someday I will lose him, that he deserves better than me, all of these wacko thoughts. The thing is that I can't control them. I will start crying hysterically about feeling this way and being distant from him and also over losing my dad. I honestly right now cannot decipher the emotions all apart.
How do i even begin to approach this? How can I get my old self back again, I miss her. I feel so lost.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

If you need to cry then cry ... It can be really cleansing..
I would look for a RL support group to talk this out with other people who are also going through grief.... It will be a very supportive environment for you
I think when we lose someone we love it's a shock to the system even when we're expecting it.... People can't know this loss without a personal experience so I think some of your thinking is understandable
Support can help you through this time.... another hug and a blessing......xo
