People don't know what to say to you right now. They're trying to comfort you by saying that she's right beside you. They mean well, they do.
It's understandable that your children are confused. It probably frightens them to see you so distraught. I'm sure you're probably already doing it, but take a moment here and there to smile at them (even if you're crying) and say you love them.
Your loss is tremendous, so just try to hang on. If you ever want to talk, send me a message. I mean it.
A world turned upside down seems like it will never be right side up again.
Showing up for your children as best you can every day is reassuring for them. You are stronger than you think. During many tough times my sons held me up by just being kids & accepting & giving hugs & kisses!
Thinking of you!
I just feel like I cant look at my kids because they remind me of the way she loved them so. I hate this pain. It doesnt feel real....she was here one minute then gone the next. Just a few weeks ago she was here, on my couch laughing and playing with the kids. Then the pain started....then the illness.....then they said it was cancer....21 days in the hospital and thats it...gone faster then she could get there.I dont understand it. She was fine....she was fine.....
