I lost my mother last week and this has been the hardest thing I've been through. My mother was SO amazing and she was my best friend. I loved her SO much and I miss her dearly. She was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in October 2014 and fought as hard as she could until the very end (last Wednesday). It still does not feel real that she's really gone. It feels like she's on vacation or even at work. I thumb through all of our texts/pictures and it makes me hurt even more. When people tell me, "at least she's not suffering anymore or she's in a better place" it makes me mad. I know this sounds terrible and selfish but I would of rather have her here with me. I know you're not supposed to question God but out of all the people why did she have to go.. why did she have to get cancer.. I would trade anything to have her back so I can hug her or tell her I love and appreciate her. Life just isnt the same without her :(

Which explains the mysterious fevers and my extra fatigue. I'm so glad I pushed for answers.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

We get hit with a lot of emotions when we lose somebody who meant the world to us. So much to do, no emotional energy to do things.
As time passes you will be able to handle things; not all at once, and the road will not be smooth, but you will find your way!
I have found several things helped me. Venting with friends, posting here, getting angry, crying, remembering my parents, trying to forget them, dealing with their estate, and just letting time wash over me.
Gentle hugs
it is very hard to scope with it. I feel so alone. Even my wife don't really understand me. She thinks i am too sensitive or attached to my mom. She is distancing away from me actually now when i need her the most. I am ok though. learning to live alone. I am glad to find this site to see other people going through the same thing and that I am not crazy. I hope I can provide comforts for you all here as you me. I hope i can find people to share the same pain as me, understand me and help me heal too.
Thank you.
