My friend has some boxes of stuff from his dad. He is not willing to throw it away. He expects that his daughters will throw them away, but that they will keep boxes of his stuff that their kids will in turn throw away.
I looked it up, and the first "hit" I found charged about $25 to convert an LP to digital format. You can get a record player starting at about $50. Obviously you can spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on a music system!
So, as for me, I'd likely donate them or try to sell them online if I did not particularly like the music. As for the posters, same thing.
but that is just me!
You might want to keep at least one program/poster and have it nicely framed.
I have tons of stuff from my parents, but I'm about ready to let go of most of it via an estate sale. So I'm kind of biased to the simplify path and only keep what you would have wanted if it had not come from him.
