I was in my closet tonight and found a box on my shelf, didn't remember what was in it so I took it down and looked. It was filled with notes from my granddaughter Heather. See she was legally blind but she could put her paper to her face and write. She wrote notes all the time, I could be sitting right next to her and she would write me a note just so I would write one back. I cherish everyone of those notes, they were always filled with so much love and gratitude for all we did for her. It wasn't hard to do the things we did because she was so special to us. I also found some letters that my Mom had written me, they are so special too. I miss them so very much. The angelversary( as my daughter calls it) of their death is drawing close, 3 yrs in March but to me it's like yesterday. I know alot of you feel the same. Hugs to everyone!

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Gentle hugs, and thank you for sharing this!
I think what you wrote 'use them to guide you as you create new memories' is wonderful Pepper.... Being mindful of not giving up today can be hard when we're grieving ......xo
