Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

My best guess is that you are still in shock.
I prefer to think of bereavement as learning how to manage the emotions of grief. Others like to think of it as stages of grief. However you look at it, the trick I have found is to be as honest as you can with yourself about your feelings, and explore them enough so that you are comfortable about them. This comfort does not mean minimizing the person you lost, but rather it means an acceptance of those feelings and allowing you to move on to other things in your life.
For me, being with family was the best tonic. My wife in particular was the best as she is the person I am most comfortable with when it comes to expressing my emotions and feelings. I got help and support from other family and friends, and that made my path a bit easier. Or perhaps it made it less hard.
Please feel free to vent and express yourself as much as you need here.
Gentle hugs
Thinking of you,
All the best,
Peace and love,
Sarah
