I know what it is to have such great emptiness in your soul
I agree with you,its alright to talk,as well as cry,This is called healing
If you hold it in,it will only hurt just as bad for a longer time
One doesn't "get over" such pain, only healing, and time Help some
No one should tell you not to cry,its like saying "be quiet"
Do what you feel you need to do,and i promise you,You will heal
Loss is never "replaced" or forgotten, yet we do have to go On
Come talk with me if you wish,i will try to be a good listener>>
My son David was stillborn had he lived he would be 20 yrs old in July'12.I have found that seeking out support of other bereaved parents nessesary,in helping me come to terms with David's passing.Lots of tears & anger & talking about my unanswered questions.Just a lil of my experience.HUGS!
i think your family is concerned for somtimes people who try to help make it worse, it okay to feel the way you do big gental hug minnie
Most men don't understand that delaying your grief or running away from your pain is a bad thing.
Crying is natural and there should be no shame in any of it. The bible has many examples of crying; even Jesus wept for Lazareth. Is Jesus not the example we are to follow??
I would explain to your family that crying is healing and good for the soul. It helps process your grief and allows you to cope / function better.
I speak from my own experience of losing my 9 year old daughter. She would be 16 now; hard to believe.
