my father was the rock of the family this i know when he died the rock was removed and the little rocks had no where to go and no place to get gather themselves. but we are left with many lessons in which to gather our courage and regain our faith in love that is the lessons our fathers leave us and by which we move forward still wanting to prove ourselves to them that what they taught us will go on living in us and hopefully we will show our children what lessons they may need when they cross this path that we are now in.
I listen to this song ALOT!! It seems to bring me a little bit of peice...I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, it's not about crying for them cuz we know they are in a much better place, it's about crying for us, that are stuck here without them
Thank you all for your support and encouragement. I have seen a therapist and it helped some, but it also seemed to make things harder to deal with when I would have to work that night or the next day. I know God took my Dad home to be with him and I understand this. I have alot of this to remind me of him everyday. It is getting easier each day, but there are so many hard days to get through and I hope being able to talk to other going through this as well will help me more.
Thank you all.
Listen to the song I posted...It makes total sense, It somedays makes me feel better and sometimes it makes me feel worse but I have to listen to it atleast once a day :) Good luck with your journey through the darkness and I know there IS light, even if I don't see it now. We'll have good days and bad days and some just so so days but we're all here for the same thing!! Good luck
