Hi, Everyone. I just found out that my stepson's aunt his mom's sister passed away. I have met her before however I wasn't that close to her. I am however close to my stepson and his mom. The circumstances of his aunt's death are very similar to the death of my mother. My mom passed away in 2023 in February. My mom and I were so close. I miss my mom everyday. We did everything together, went everywhere together. I took care of my mom towards the end of her life when she needed me to. I did everything for her. Cooked, Cleaned, shopped, scheduled her appointments and transportation, went to all of her doctors appointments with her, while balancing and coordinating my own appointments. Gave her showers, combed her hair and also cut and styled her hair, Helped to get her dressed. Helped to manage her medication, make sure she got her medication filled and delivered from the pharmacy and make sure she took her meds everyday morning, noon and night.Helped her to manage her money and pay her bills online. Did her laundry. Changed the linens on her bed. We used to have devotion and prayer together every morning. I would read the bible to her and other inspirational books. I would buy her journals and she would write to God in them everyday.I still have all of her journals. My mom was always a very light and free spirited person. She was very happy go lucky and full of humor. She made me laugh a lot not because she was trying to be funny but because she would do or say things that were just naturally funny. Like the time that she tried to reconnect our cable tv after we had to disconnect it to put down new tile flooring and we had to disconnect and move everything. She some how plugged the cable tv into itself and we couldn't figure out why it wasn't working so we called the cable company to send a technican out. The technican came out and found the problem in 2 seconds and told us it won't work if you plug your cable tv into itself. We all started laughing. The problem was quickly fixed but after that we never let mom connect the cable again lol.
