I am not sure how much more I can take. I feel lik eI am losing my boyfriend and now I just learned that someoen I considered a friend was found dead (at a known drug user's house) this morning. They have to do an autopsy due to a probable drug overdose. I mean I knew he was going to die one day, (possibly from the cancer in him), but to lose him this way. I tried so hard (everyone did) to help him kick the drug's but no matter what he always went back to them and now he is gone. WHY?
No one will truly ever know, until the day comes for each of us, when I believe all of our questions will be answered. Until then, although this may not be easy to read, for whatever the reason is ~ it was his time to go home. Young, old, ailments, addictions, it's all part of the journey. It's the imprints we leave along the way.
Clearly you loved this friend enough to want to help him, all of you. You saw in him the good that he possessed. He knows that and in return he is going to watch over you until you meet again.
