On April 7, 2016, we said good bye to my sister. She valiantly battled breast cancer for 10 years. We were very close. This past Christmas she said to me, "this is what sisters are supposed to be like, sharing everything, raising each other's children, always there, no matter the miles between us." My sister was the most courageous person I have ever known. She started out in this world hearing impaired, and then finally through degeneration, profoundly deaf. It did not stop her, nor even slow her down. She faced the cancer in this same way. Each procedure, surgery, poisonous intervention she accepted head on, absorbed the blow, struggled to right herself, and just kept on marching.
On days when I feel like I just can't, for whatever reason; grief, fatigue, fear, I picture my little sister in front of me, marching on. I keep my eyes peeled on her back, her small shoulders, and then that bright smile as she turns to look for me , to make sure I'm keeping up...
I love you L'il Sis

Which explains the mysterious fevers and my extra fatigue. I'm so glad I pushed for answers.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.
