You are lucky that you found this site. It has been wonderful for me.
You will find by reading and posting (if you want to) that you are not alone. We all share the pain of losing our loved one. I think it's a good idea to go to counseling. I started going as soon as I could and I'm going to a different church tomorrow night. Get all of the help that's available to you. These are some of the helpful things that I learned here: take care of yourself, sleep, cry, scream, drink water, take your meds if you're on any, eat nutritious foods (not junk), try to keep busy but listen to your body and rest when you need to, it's OK to say no to people if you don't feel like doing something, talk to family and friends and explain to them that you don't know what you're doing from one minute to the next, if people offer their help....TAKE IT, allow yourself
accept favors (believe it or not people feel better if they can do for you) and most of all keep your faith ......they are around us and one day we will be reunited.
I hope this helps you a little.......I'm sending you and your daughter a great big hug.
I miss my husband immensely and I cry at the drop of a hat. I do know that every time I cry or get into a slump that it's part of the process. Once you come to terms with that and know that you are powerless over what has happened, I believe you can move through it easier ( not that it's easy ). Stay on the site and keep writing. On those days where you feel strong, write about it.......sometimes putting something
In writing makes us more determined. I was a Weight Watcher and they wanted us to journal and write out our menu for the day......it works....when you write it down, you stick to it! Remember, we're human and unfortunately part of life is death, part of love is loss but, we're still living and our loved ones would want us to live a full life and God knows.......we're trying! Hang in there and do whatever it takes to make you comfortable.
