Hi everyone, I am so thankful that I found all of you. I lost my boyfriend of 2 years one month ago today. I was the one who found him in his apartment. We don't know the exact cause yet, but it's possibly an accidental drug overdose. He was my soulmate, best friend, and love of my life. He held the key to my heart. We shared a connection that was unlike anything else. I feel so afraid to live without him. I'm 23 years old and I knew with all my heart that I wanted to grow old with him. He would have been the best husband and father. I just feel like I will never get married or have children now that he is gone. His sense of humor and loving nature is what I miss most.
My emotions are so overwhelming right now. One minute I can feel God's comfort and the next minute I feel a wave of depression knock me out. The ache inside is unbearable. My heart is broken beyond belief. Luckily, I have very supportive and loving parents, but it still feels like I just don't know what to do without him.
I guess I just needed to share some feelings with people that I know will understand. Thank you for listening.

I came home back in 2001 and found my wife had died of a heart attack...no drugs..but it hurts.It always hurts.
I know it must hurt you.
I hope you come here and post about your feelings and talk about it to others..family, friends..perhaps you should seek counselling.
That might help.

Remember, he loved you and you loved him. That will never end.! Even tho it hurts, please continue to share with all of us. It helps us too.

He Died
We had lived together for several years
this man who had captured my heart
then suddenly he became very sick
and all at once our lives fell apart
I watched the man that I had loved
slowly die before my eyes
knowing there was nothing that could be done
I slept by his side and cried and cried
he was only sick a year before he died
and was put in a nursing home for his care
I was told while at work that he had passed away
at 32 , he was the youngest one there
he told me on his deathbed
to move on with my life
and find another man
who would treat me right
saying goodbye to him was so hard to do
whenever I think of him I get tears in my eyes
the love of my life , hard to believe
it\'s been 15 yrs now since he died
