Joseph, she will ALWAYS be a part of you ~ you and she shared a part of your lives. There will always be times when she will pop up in your memory ~ but it doesn't have to be BAD memories. In time when you think of her, you will have a smile on your face instead of a frown. It's still quite fresh in your mind - the suicide is still fairly recent. The pain is still there and it will be there for awhile longer. But as time passes, you'll find that the pain eases, and the memories become more and more sweet - and you're remembering the GOOD things about her - the good times you had and how pretty she was. You will no longer remember the pain that you felt.
Give it more time, and I GUARANTEE that this unhappiness at the thought of Miriam will stop. When you think of her, you WILL smile. She will always be a part of your heart. God bless you and I hope you didn't find a new love on the "rebound." Take your time before you commit to a lifetime together. God bless. Hugs, Lee
