Try to let that "hate" feeling turn into LOVE. Be HAPPY for people who beat cancer, due to their own lifestyle changes, the chemo, radiation and tumor-removal treatment, the grace of God or just dumb luck. Life is like a Lotto drawing.
How can you hate people you don't even know?
This doesn't sound like hate or jealousy. This sounds more like anger that you lost a loved one; which is actually normal.
These persons who "survived" cancer will still eventually die either from the return of cancer or from some other sickness or accident. It's not a "they won, my mom lost" situation. Their lives have just been extended a bit longer than your mother.
Unfortunately, sickness & death is something we ALL have to deal with at some point in our lives; we just don't know when.
Illness is not inflicted upon us by God, it is an artifact of an imperfect world. It is normal to be angry but you are directing your anger toward survivors. Keep in mind that cancer is not really something anyone actually "survives" indefinitely. Statistics show that if a person reaches age 65 without a bad diagnosis that person is most likely to live into their eighties. Who wants to do THAT. I know I don't.
God has a plan. I think you need to investigate this aspect of reality. It's totally disingenuous (especially given the "science" now) to suggest this universe is random, totally ridiculous. There is a "master" plan. The soul is housed in the body but the soul is eternal (at least so far as we know, perhaps at the last judgment this will not be so.)
I lost my beloved daughter, my only child. The overall purpose is beyond my ability to understand but I KNOW THERE IS one. If you are open to God, He WILL communicate with you (and you will learn how those personal communications "work", given time.)
Don't HATE anyone: don't let the garbage in your head enter your will. Remember that for every cancer survivor there are parents, spouses, children, friends, who are rejoicing and relieved. These survivors may not have all that much time, no one is guaranteed a future, but they are alive and that is for a reason. Your loved one is free. Pray.
My sister-in-law appears to have "beaten" cancer...for the moment, but she has side-effects from the chemo, namely a weak heart. Yes, no one gets out of that disease completely intact, and, even cancer survivors' bodies will continue to age and become decrepid in other ways. All we can do is try to take care of ourselves as best as we can, and leave the rest in the hands of God. All of our times will come, and when they do, all we can do is pray for a speedy trip to the other side as free of pain as possible.
"" It sounds more like JEALOUSY than hate. It's a futile attempt to make sense of the completely random crap-shoot that life is in your mind.

Bad advice, all around, and this is not the venue for you to flame me. Shame on you.
