Hey this is my first time on this group I haven't been on this site in a year. I just really need to talk to people about it who understand that isn't my family. My grandma (nana) has always been really close to me. She was so bubbly and so opening to everyone. She had stage 4 pancreatic cancer for 3 years. She just passed away last monday I thought I was at peace with it I know she's in heaven and not in pain anymore. Today I just had a mental breakdown sobbing wanting to talk to her and play words with friends with her. I feel like no one understands how close I was with her. I feel loved by her to give me her car and her wedding ring i'm barely an adult right now. I just feel lost right now

Do you think having anxiety could lead into depression? What are your thoughts?

Listening. . ..
Please know that I feel your heartache. I'm sorry for the gripping hurt and pain you feel and for the difficult problems of grief.
Leaving you with a car and a wedding ring is a sweet and special thing to do. There's no doubt in my mind that your grandma loves you and wants to continue those caring feelings; she will always want to be a part of your life. There is a purpose for it. Is there a way for you to manage to continue to play the "words with friends" game in a solitary way? Or through the spirit of the game and not just by her physical presence? This way is a faithful way to use your imagination and memory. Our loved ones (in spirit) feel just as much emotion as we do, and she has not forgotten the special times shared while living on earth. Thing is to learn to trust that she will communicate to you while in spirit form now.
As you get used to trusting she's only attempting to comfort you, then you will feel her own peace and happiness, though perhaps not in the same way you imagine it to be, just in the way that God plans for it to be. You and your grandma will generate real love through a new spirit-filled approach, one that's similar or in the form of the old past times that you once enjoyed together, yet now in a spiritual type of situation that is particularly exciting or emotional with happiness. Tears still happen, however, not so tense as before.
I've learned that the awful moment of emotional breakdown is often at a time when our loved ones are nearby for the sake of comfort, and this is really supposed to be a faith-building moment of cherished love, a time in which you may each express love jointly, and this is the time in which you each recall those special times together; death is not really supposed to be the end; it just seems that way, but you may still use your creative mind to see your nana. I bless you today with tender hugs!
When loss becomes real for us it's quite an adjustment and it hurts.....Letting go of the pain by crying and feeling what you need to is a good thing sweetie...
Another hug and a blessing....xo
I would love to share a Bible verse with you that has helped me.
Psalm 147:3
God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Dear friend, please know that you are not alone. I am so glad you reached out to talk about it. That shows so much courage. I would also encourage you to talk with your family if you feel you can. I have found in my walk with grief that sharing is always better than refusing to talk about it.
May I pray for you?
God, I thank you for bringing us together today. I pray that you will surround this person and their family with Your presence. May You remind them that You are with them and that You love and care for them more than anyone else on this earth. Give them peace in their hearts and minds. Bring comforting to their souls. In Jesus Christ's Name I pray, Amen.
