Goodbye sadness by vader 4 years is enough

The title of the song is Goodbye Sadness and I am through with being sad.I cannot change the past.But I can make the present just so fantastic.Today was my coming out day.Today the Mayor of Seattle spoke to the Senior Center in Greenwoood,which is my neighborhood.I was one of the ones who asked the mayor about meth clinics and mental health clinics because Brad before he took his life asked me for help.There is an new program in Seattle and now the Seattle Police are not putting some people in jail.For this I am glad.Tomorrow is my new beginning.I am taking a Computer course at the college.It will be for 6 weeks.They have changed the computers at the library and I feel like a idiot on it.I will be busy until November.And November is a hard month for me.You see on November 1st,will be 26 years that I lost my father and now I realize this...just how sick my father was in his final years and it has been selfish of me wanting him to live longer.I will see him again.I became a born again christian 2 years ago and I do not preach about my faith.I just believe and I do believe all things are possible for me now.On October 5th,I turned the magic age.I am now 66 years old and I feel just great.I feel alive and I today just gave away all of Brads clothes and I will always love Brad...but some people just cannot be helped and if Brad had lived...I would have been hurt bad.I will write letters as much as I can to get more treatment for people who are on meth.Meth is at an all time high in Seattle.We must help these people./We cant let Brads death be in vain.I must go on and I am going to classes and singing again and this Friday I will be working for the
reelection of the mayor Mike Mcguinn and I cannnot wait for now I know that I can do this and I am glad that my mourning is over and I am so glad that my sadness is gone.Thanks Daily Strength!

Hi Vader, I thank you for your posting! A lost no matter the cause or the time, is a hard thing to deal with. I was having a bad moment and decided to log on for some support and the song title alone that you shared, brought a smile to my face! Just knowing someone else has found peace. As I strive to one day say Goodbye Sadness myself , I will continue to have faith, as This Too Shall Past!!

This is FANTASTIC! Part of your walk with Jesus is to share how He has helped you. And He does, every single day; He has my entire life. Without Him, I would not be sitting here. So SHARE your faith, sister, and when you are rebuked, laugh. My friend Dean Arney told me the only "entity" you can say "GO TO HELL" to is Satan. So turn and rebuke him/it and tell it to GO TO HELL.

You are turning a corner, this is beautiful and incredibly inspirational. I thank God that you are my friend and I am able to share this enormous sea change in your life. Brad is with the Lord, I have absolutely no doubt of this. You are now on a journey designed for you, personally, by the Creator of all things. May God walk with you (and He never will stop) and may that communication between Him and you grow, strengthen, may you hear the "inner locution". Stay in prayer. Remember, He has defeated the "world".
