I am so sorry for what you are going through and the agony you and your wife are enduring.
My mom was a donor I had her cremated. If you donate her body to science then you will not have her physical body to burry. However you can have a wonderful srvice with a large picture and even a table with many lifetime photos. I recently experienced a funeral with a video of the pictures and music. This was wonderful, from early years with friends, family, kids, funny and sad. That way you can have wonderful memories and still donate for science. Perhaps finding a cure for the very thing that took her.

this is one suggestion that you might try is have her picture there and have a wake service instead of a funeral where people can leave their thoughts and prayers or comments about her life and how she touched their life and or have a closed casket funeral then it dose not matter if her body is there or not but what you need to know and hear is the sympathy and sorrow of the people for your loss and for your childrens loss and they need to be able to exspess it and show their love for you and your children. i am so sorry for your wifes illness cancer is never a fun one for a family to have to be around day in and day out and to have to watch your loved one go down a piece at a time when all the time wishing they would feel better and stay with you but knowing that as sick as they are that they would be better off not staying with you and that causes alot of conflick in your mind please know my heart an prayers are with you and your family love and sympathy i send your way lauri43
