The night my mother died I dreamed that my father was at my house looking out the window of my bathroom acting very strangly..muttering and telling me that the "Spirits are angry with me" In the dream I walked down the hallway to my bedroom but when I opened th door it was my parents bedroom and I could see my mom but she was all shimmery and transparent..I could see she was talking and as she became more solid I was desparate to hear what she was saying...when she finally became solid I kept saying Mom I can see you..I can see you..and then I finally heard her say Honey I know you can see me and you can see me whenever you want to...That is the only dream I have had of her in the three weeks since she passed away..In the dream she looked like she did when I was a teenager..Not sick and not in pain...

Yes...I too have dreams. I have had several loved ones pass on. Two very recently -- my brother and sister. I have a problem sleeping and when I do sleep, I dream a lot -- sometimes sad, sometimes happy -- but when I awaken, it's hard to face the fact that they are gone. My mother passed on a year and a half ago and I was just starting to feel stronger when I lost my siblings. Now, I have so many different feelings, I just can't get a grip -- and my mother has been in my dreams again. I, too, was very close to my Grandmother -- I thought of her as my guardian angel. She passed on almost 20 years ago. I thought I would never smile again... but, after a long grieving process, I was able to cope and finally find comfort in her memories. I'm hoping to be able to deal with all that is happening now too. It's very hard, I know. I'm new to this website -- I hope we both get the help we need to get through this. Take care.

yes, my son joey came thru into his brothers dreams right away...showing them both he was having fun..my oldest son said that joey was in a forest with him, and my oldest son held on to him, tight , and said , joey, dont go...but joey pointed to a beautiful group of flying eagles and hawks and said, i love you bro, but i have to go...he hugged his brother and went to where the flying birds were soaring..and my other son said joey came to him and sat on a raft with him and showed him the skyline of chicago, where my middle son lives, and told him not to worry, it was a good town for him to live in...and that he was okay..
joey came to me in a dream right after he crossed..i was frantic in the dream, looking for him at a hospital, yelling at people 'where is my baby!" and i walked into a hospital room and joey was sitting in a chair eating a popsicle and smiling at me. he said ' mom, relax..im still here...lets go home, nothing bad has happened, its okay mom'
joey also came thru to his stepbrother, walked in the door of the house in his dream and told him 'i didnt die, dont worry so much about me'
in all the dreams he was smiling and happy and wanted to let everyone know he is okay and still very much alive, its just his body that was let go of.
i know they are letting us know they are okay..

I to have dreams about my gran who passed but the dreams are so strange and she dies in them to but its weird as when i wake i always imagine that it was only a dream and feel horrible when it actually is a reality that she isnt here anymore so i wish id just stop dreaming as it makes it worse xx

I don't have dreams but since i moved into the condo i hear strange noises at times. There is an angel border in the front room and kitchen. Every now and then my dog will look at the border and i tell her that she is freaking me out doing that. She was not in my life when my parents died.

For the first six months after my grandmother passed away I dreamt about her almost daily. To make things even crazier on ocassions I woke up in the middle of the night to my computer printer making noises and shooting blank paper sheets to the air. On Christmas eve last year, as I was getting ready to put the presents under the tree, I went to my bedroom looking for wrapping paper or something and the TV turned on on its own... I don't know if ghosts and spirits are real or not, but I saw it at the time as a sign from her letting me know that she was with me. (She had a wicked sense of humor)
In my dreams she would always smile at me and tell me either that she was doing alright or at times when things were getting tough and I dreamt of her, she would tell me in my dreams not to worry and that everything would be ok. Sometimes I see her laying on her bed talking to me and giving me life instructions as she did before she died... always reminding me of her advise.
I still think of her fondly and miss her like crazy, but something tells me that she's doing alright wherever it is that she's at and that she wants me to be ok and move on with my life without forgetting her... and I have. I keep a picture of her with me at all times, and look at her to remember the good days we had together. I'm living my life the way she lived her own and the way she wanted me to be. We must understand that although me miss them and we're sadden by their departure, our loved ones want us to keep living live... and to do it happily. After all, Life goes on and so do we!

hello, i started a discussion on dreams but only got 1 reply. the dream was very upsetting and i know it was my husband telling me he wasnt at peace

I hope you feel comforted in some way with replies. We can start talking about what's happening in our lives but hope you have a connection. I just went into the dining room and our picture was sliding down halfway. Nothing should have caused it to move. There may be other "signs", etc. and I try to stay open. Songs playing that mean something when I need that support. Tonight is a tough night and feel so much support just talking.

You guys are so lucky to have dreams of your loved ones. I have prayed and prayed asking God for a dream telling me my son is ok.
I haven't had one yet.
I keep waiting...

Just let it happen, as hard as it is to say that. I have not had "dreams" just feelings that last a split second. So I just let it happen then realize later. Hope that helps
