Bereavement Support Group
Are you grieving the loss of a loved one? Whether you lost someone recently or it's been years, grief and its accompanying emotions can be complicated to cope with. Join our online support group to connect with a supportive group of people who really know how you feel. Help is right here.
This is a life changing trauma. It will have far reaching effects and it definitely requires expert, loving counseling from a very gifted grief counselor/psychotherapist (not easy to find but who knows, you might find it the first try). A horrible loss, a dreadful burden, a black burning rock you carry every day: I know. I suggest you look for For Moms Only here on DS. This is a large group of women who have lost children for various reasons and who support one another in this horrific journey on how to survive, how to go on living, what that means.

Introduce yourself, little sister. And expect, as the weeks go by, that you will find yourself wrapped in the arms of women who have been where you are and who are surviving. How? God knows. Without my faith I would have died the day my daughter did. Instead, I told the cop to call an ambulance and I spent three days and three nights in the psych ward (like Jesus in the tomb) and "resurrected", passed through horror with the help of two therapists and one very good psychiatrist, and am now at the (almost) 2-1/2 year mark, surprised to be alive. May God bless you and comfort you.
