I wish you peace and big hugs!
I'm not great like Gandi, or Mother Theresa, or Dr. King, so I doubt that I will ever accomplish things that they did.
But I will make my little part of the world better.
I will say hello to people I meet, even if they scare me a bit.
I will open doors for others, even if they are younger than me.
I will take time to say hello to children and listen to what they say, even if I don't understand a lot of what they say.
I will pick up after others, even if I only do part of it.
They all are busy with their own life and I get no emotional support from anyone.
How about the younger generation? Same thing for them.
How about a face book page for the younger ones in your family? Simple stuff, give them a place to share what they want to share with you. (Teens and young 20 somethings may not want to have us old guys on their face book page, but a place where they can easily control what they share may be the ticket to getting things started.
Continuing hugs
