I am very sorry for your loss. It is really difficult to lose somebody at such a young age - and the world seems to start moving on so quickly. All I can tell you is that you can get through it with the support an care of your family and friends. If not with support here. I remember my experience of burying my partner barely - it was just so surreal and I think I'm glad I don't really remember. Love and care
Emma
A few points of view: I can promise you that things will never be "okay". It's not "okay" that our loved one was taken from us. It will always be different. We have to keep that in mind. While they will not be "okay", they will be "better". Once we have been through one of the hardest things in a lifetime, there is not too many worse things to go through. The small things should stop bothering you so much. There is no instruction manual for all of these emotions people like us have. Don't think what you are feeling is wrong or not the "right" way to feel. You and I and folks like us are writing our own books right now.
What has happened to us is like a cut. Time cannot heal it, but it can make a scar. You always know a scar is there, but as it heals, the pain slowly ebbs away. It may not go away altogether, but it will subside. When you feel like you are losing your faith, look at the love you do have in your life; family, friends, pets (if you have them). Focus on the good in your life and not on the crappy hand we've been dealt.
I hope my ramblings help you somewhat. You have my prayers and support, as I know where you are. Take care and God bless...
God bless and I will pray for encouragement for you. Debbie
