Sometimes it just feels like too much. I try to go with it as long as I can than I decide that I've gotta get busy on something else.
Not trying to give you any suggestions just wanted you to know you weren't alone.
Hang in there!

I think that losing your parents is the most traumatic thing we go thru. Losing a husband is right up there too -- I lost mine almost 10 years ago. But your parents were with you from the beginning. They knew everything about you. And our Moms were our confidents'. We probably told them almost everything.
We haven't really lost them tho. They are still here with us. Perhaps you've felt them in your home?? Perhaps you've smelled their perfume? Or maybe you've even had a tap on the shoulder? I have. Maybe in time you will feel these things too. But for now, just know that your Mom is WITH YOU. She didn't just fly off into oblivion. She's right there with you. I hope that brings you comfort. It sure does me. God bless you and take care. Hugs, Lee
Yes, I feel her everywhere and thats quite the comfort until the days I don't, but it is good to hear you never stop missing her. I know that sounds odd but it has been difficult to give myself permission to heal as well. Although it wasn't years ago, my mom passed away on November 14, 2010, the grief does seem to be passing and I'll have a great day and feel bad for it, then I'll be having a great day and out of no where tears! It is quite the roller-coaster for sure...
Again thanks for your support.

But I also know they are always near me, and like the other posters, I have seen many signs from them when I especially need their help and strength. Sometimes you have to let yourself sit quietly, listen and feel whatever is there. For instance, when my Mom passed on, it was very early in the morning. I went outside, and it was just getting light. It was perfectly quiet-not a sound. I asked God to give me a sign that she was ok, and immediately a dove flew over my yard. I took that as a sign, and whenever I see a dove, especially when I am in some kind of trouble, I am reminded that she is right there with me, always.
I know it is so hard when we lose a family member, but remember they are gone from their physical form, but they are still with you in spirit. I hope this helps you, and I will pray for you to find peace in your life. God Bless. Kathy
