Hey guys. Y’all have been every helpful with my questions so far so I thought I would ask another one. I was babysitting for a new family yesterday and there son had been in the restroom for a while. He’s 8. After a while he called me to the bathroom and said he needed help. So I went in. He had pooped in the toilet and said he needed me to wipe him. I asked if he always needs help and he said yes normally his mom or dad does it and he tried to wait to go till they got home but couldn’t wait any more. So of course I helped him out. I don’t think it’s normal for a kid that old to need help with wiping. Have any of you with kids ever dealt with this? I mentioned it to his mom when they got home and she apologized that I had to do that and they he just throws a fit and then refuses to wipe himself if they don’t do it for him.
