Bedwetting Support Group
Bedwetting (or nocturnal enuresis or sleepwetting) is involuntary urination while asleep. It is the normal state of affairs in infancy, but can be a source of embarrassment when it persists into school age or the teen or adult years. Find others who are coping with a bedwetting problem and share your experiences and questions.

I'm not sure where everyone is from reading this but in the U.S. summer is starting! That means sleep overs and summer camps. I thought I would share some tricks I have used in order to stay away from any unwanted attention.
Summer camps are a lot of fun but when you wet the bed it can be horrifying! When pull-ups would do its job, I kept a stash at the bottom of my bag that would last me the duration of the summer camp, usually a week. During free time or recreational time I would go back to the cabin and grab a pull-up and place it either in my sleeping bag or pillow case depending on the camp. Then when lights were out I would put it on with no one noticing. I always thought that was the easy part. Mornings are the difficult part when you need to dispense the used pull-up. If I was up earlier than everyone else I would just walk to the bath house and dispose of it ther making sure there was paper towels or something to cover it up. If not, this may seem gross but would slide out of it and leave it in my bed until I was able to discretly dispose of it.
When pull-ups no longer were the solution I usually had another bag with me that I would leave at the nurses office with my diapers. Right before bed I was always called away to the nurses office which for me was code for changing into a diaper. With pull-ups or diapers the camp usually knew about my bed wetting issues. Then by the time I arrived back to the cabin everyone was in bed with the lights out. This helped prevent anyone noticing what I was wearing. In the morning I was awaken first to change before everyone else. This kept my secret, my secret amongst the other girls.
Sleepovers were kind of the same routine of hiding a pull-up either in my sleeping bag or pillow case when I arrived. Then when the lights were out would slip into my pull-up. Once again, when pull-ups wouldn't hold through the night I would have to wear a diaper. One of two situations occured. Either I would put it on in my sleeping bag once the lights were out or would go to the bathroom and change. In the morning if in a sleeping bag I would keep a plastic grocery bag in with me. So in the morning I would slip out of my protection and place it in the bag. No one would no the difference. Sometimes the parents knew and would assist in making sure that my secret kept a secret but not always. On the other hand I had a couple of friends that knew and if it was just us two, it did not matter.
I hope this helps someone who is fearful of summer camps or sleepovers!

I've just been updating my profile information because I had a birthday last week, and so I'm now 25 instead of 24. It doesn't feel any different though!Just so you all know a bit about me: I suffer with anxiety and occasional panic attacks, and sometimes I do an accidental wee in bed while I'm asleep. Now I'm a year older than this time last week I can report that nothing has changed, although...
