I would immediately go to a drug store or Walmart and buy the tape on style adult diapers and some of the absorbent bed pads to sleep on. That will provide some temporary protection. It sounds like you have been in touch with a doctor, but he did not give you a very good answer. While they are the best solution, a sudden transition to diapers can sometimes be difficult. At the very least, find a way to protect the mattress. You can get bed pads or a fitted mattress protector at different price ranges. If you do decide to go with a diaper, make sure to get a quality brand. It is not worth the cost if it leaks.

I agree, this is hard. You need to find a support group and also decide on how you will manage the issue. The best option that I have found is Adult diapers but it can be hard. If you have a spouse, make sure they are part of this because it can be just as hard, sometimes even harder on the care giver.

I think there is some good advice here. But you need to get "protection" which is designed for nighttime use -- probably a pull-on style is NOT going to be as effective as a tape-on. And the plastic pants will help with leaks.

My advice would be in the first instance get some decent night time protection and put a matteras cover on the bed. You need to get checked out by a decent Doctor. to rule out any serious underlying problems. When my bedwetting returned I saw the doc and then got refered to a urologist. Eventually it was decided my diabetes is a contributing factor and I am unlikely to become dry again but this is not the case for everyone. In most cases bedwetting can be cured.

Your story sounds somewhat like mine, rewound 3.5 years. Begetting came back with a vengeance, after having been basically give since childhood. Dr.s haven't given me any clear answers, but still it goes.

Ok, so a lot of people said get the protection with tapes, so after the underwear ran out and got some. They do work well, but my issue with them is the are not discreet at all, very bulky, and its much more embarrassing than the other type. This is all so much, it really hasn't faded. Try different sleeping patterns, if you go to bed at a certain time try to cut back on liquids 30mins to an hour before bed. You could cut your intake of liquids by half also. Try sleeping with the room completely dark of if need with a light but a distance away. So, if you have a night light, cell phone or computer don't have them right close to the bed. These things disrupt sleep and cause lucid dreams. The mind is a funny thing and works on many waves. Also try to relax and not tense about it because nerves cause us to urine more often too. If you have to go the diaper route don't be ashamed you have support.
