Sazx, I do wash there bedding every week or any time the diapers leak. But there rooms still smell. I also don’t keep the wet diaper in there room.
I asked my friend today what she does, her son also wets the bed. She said she keeps an open container of baking soda in there room and even sprinkles it on the carpet when she vacuums there room and then vacuums it up but says it really helps. I’m going to try that.
As you don't keep their wet diapers in their room, the pee smell doesn't come from this. That means that their diapers leaked a bit even if you didn't notice when you changed them. The smell of fresh urine always turns into a smell of ammonia after one or two days.
