Hi, I'm a 47 year old married male. I started wetting the bed this year. It's upsetting that it happens at night and I don't know it is happening till I wake up in a wet bed. All my life if I had to urinate at night, I woke and went to the restroom. I don't know why I don't wake any longer when I have to go. I finally told my wife because it happened 7 times and she needed to know. After soaking the bedding and mattress, one week ago, I stayed home to clean them. I went to the pharmacy and purchased max protection Depends after researching online, they seem to be the best. I also purchased adult plastic pants at the pharmacy to go over them to double my protection. I do not like this happening to me. Sometimes I wake and think, GREAT, I didn't wet...then I get to the bathroom and find that the Depends are so good at wicking, I'm wet but can't feel the wetness and thought I had a dry night, but I am soaked. I have a water proof pad under me now also. I'm sure my wife doesn't like a middle age husband who wears diapers every night, waking up seeing me diapered and hearing the crinkling diaper like a toddler does. I'm sure she can't look at me the same wearing them but she says she supports me while I figure out what to do. Help. What is happening, why can't I feel the night time urge to go, what can I do besides wear diapers?

Hello. I have accidents and wet myself a lot. I wet the bed every night to. My mum has helped me try to stop it with an alarm and a nose spray and not drinking at bedtime but it keeps happening. The doctor said my bladder is very small and it has not grown up properly like the rest of me but she said one day it will catch up. Does anyone know what I can do to make it stop.
