Now, I’ve always tended to say that “I am poly” or that I am “polyamorous” instead of saying “I am a polygamist.” For some reason, polygamist never has seemed to feel right. Though, I have rolled the term around more in my mind recently because I know people can relate to that term better.

I’m finding myself in an interesting situation where two of my past lovers have expressed interest in pursuing me, and I already was flirting with a lady friend so it’s kinda sorta a complete 180 from where I was a year ago with my ex-girlfriend (who was as vanilla lesbian as you can get lmao).

There’s a big part of me that is happy I’m in a more poly-structured courtship situation, but there is also a part of me that feels uneasy because it has been so long since I engaged in this type of lifestyle. For me, poly is a way to express the ability to love more than one person, but also to experience different kink dynamics with various people (not necessarily sexual mind you).

Anyhoo…. I just wanted to put a little post out there to see if there were any other poly-like-minded folks out there.
