I guess some have the energy, conviction, ideas, ambition, desire to be leaders
some don't, would rather just sit a spell smell the roses, listen to music, or watch the water.

hmmm I guess I am a follower! NO I think I march to my own drum my own beat! I lead myself, I follow! LOL

Good leaders have to have an understanding of the big picture and of the individuals they are leading. They don't necessarily have to be good at the detail tasks that need to be done, although that never hurts, but they must be able to see the steps that must occur and be able to match their people to those tasks. Good leaders must also know how to motivate people, to make them want to do their best, and how to keep them on track without seeming to micromanage.

One of the best leaders I've known was a supervisor in an electronics assembly and testing area. He could not solder, his picking up any tool was good cause for everyone to clear the area, and he didn't know anything about electronics. But he understood people and processes (building things is a process containing smaller processes); he didn't need to know anything else because his people did.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
