It would be sort of like the old homes in the South, but only one story (don't like stairs). The most important part would be a porch that wraps all the way around it; something that could be used rain or shine, with a porch swing hung on chains, rocking chairs, and chase lounges. Every room would have access to the porch except the bathrooms, but they would have frosted glass windows in them.

Skylights in every room for maximum natural lighting. As much glass as possible on the southern side. Primarily wood heat from a large wood stove with fans over the doorways to move the warm air throughout the house. Of course, the land would have to have sufficient size and trees to provide the wood. If there's sufficient moving water on the property, I'd also like to have my own personal power generating station.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
