For people who sometimes feel a bit like a bloody banana! A place for validation, love, hope and warmth, a place for friendship and the sharing of dreams. A place always to feel safe and welcome..also a place for the occassional sprinkling of silliness to lighten the sometimes darkness of our days.
Don't have car but when I did yes all the time, I read here in paper where people leave cash? valuables in un locked cars! are they really so naive? or just trying to get insurance money??? Or extremely forgetful-but I would never i don't think so anyway leave, forget cash?? LOL I KNOW where all my money is-well I am sure it DOES happen, sure.
I've often left my doors and/or windows unlocked, and even my garage door up, and have never had a problem. We have a large homeless population here and I've heard so many folks say, "Those homeless will steal you blind." But I've met a number of homeless and my opinion is they only steal what they need for survival. Sure, there are some druggies who will steal items they can sell, but they tend to hit the richer parts of town. The only thing I know of that was stolen by a homeless person was a lady's coat from a coworker's car. A store clerk she knew told her she'd seen it on a homeless woman. That was this spring when it was still cold at night.
If you ever leave your car unlocked and something is stolen from it, your insurance won't cover it. So bust a window, then call the police to file a report before trying to get the insurance company to cover it. ;>)
