I can add that bursitis hurts like hell (not related to the above mentioned MRI), and nothing I could take would help, including opiates and anti-inflammatories. It just takes a good PT and a lot of time (months to years) to get past it. For some, a cortisone shot helps, but it did nothing for me. Good luck!
