Back Pain Support Group
Back pain is one of the most common reasons people seek medical care. In fact, about 3 in 4 adults will experience back pain during their lifetime! I know it isn't easy-but try not to feel bad about sending a student after your mail (for example) teaches them responsiblity and gives them exercise :)
We all need to find our own tricks of how to do what we want...perhaps if your husband doesn't want to include you in their activities=find your own till they realize you're still a human being and still alive and they should be thankful for that!
Perhaps a walker at times? Or a motorized scooter?
I too have back problems thst affect my legs. I can't walk any distance without the assistance of a cane or I would be flat on my face. I've had to do this since my very first surgery wgen I was 28 years old and got operated on L4/5 after a bad fall down the stairs.
Unfortunately, I was alot weaker after the surgery than before it. I'm 53 now and have had many other surgeries and still use a cane for distance walking, but I'm on stronger medication as well now. Have nerve damage too.
I stretch every day which does help and do the elliptical. I find excercising helps me. I'm sorry your husband is not more supportive. I do hope this eases for you a little.
