When I had that happen back in June, I had no choice but to take it easy. Do what feels good for your body. Have you tried ice? You will know if it helps. I always used to do heat, and when that happened in June, I couldn't do the heat because it hurt worse. Do you have a history to create concern for the shortness of breath? Pain can fatigue you, creating shortness of breath; unless you have a prior medical condition for which the sob (shortness of breath) could be worrisome.
