Basically it siting on your butt and rolling around your weight. It involved a little more. I am no longer with him due to other issues I had with him over orthopedic doctors. Now I found a great PT who is helping me with my shoulder pain a lot. I went through a lot of PTs who did nothing for me with my shoulder pain but I now have hope because his shoulder roll exercise has taken a lot of the pain away.
If you can get a good PT person who can help you with the sciatic nerve pain, that would be the best option. My PT then was a practitioner of the Feldenkrais method. He said that fixing a sciatic nerve problem for him was like "fixing a flat tire".
