The fact that you're tripping over your own foot and having the sharp pain and tingling,I would say that you definitely need to be seen by a dr...shame the insurance can't make allowances

You need to get that checked out as soon as possible, don't wait. If it was just the pain then I would think/feel it would be OK to wait, and I say that because I would wait, I lose sensation in my leg(s) and sometimes my entire lower half. Again, just my opinion. However, with the other symptoms I believe that you should get it checked asap!!!! I suffer from lumbar stenosis, along with degenerative disc and joint disease, fractures from L2-S1, compressed nerves beyond repair and encased nerves where the fractures have grown around the nerves, tumor on my spinal cord and calcification of my spinal canal and part of it which has already turned to bone. I am 4 months post op from my second spinal fusion from a broken spine.
I pray that you receive great care, help and resolve for your pain and issues that you are experiencing. You are most definitely not alone and do not have to suffer alone, support and understanding from famiy, friends and fellow sufferers on here will help you to get through these times.

Idab, I had spinal fusion surgery last oct. 1st on my L-5, S-1 but I didn't have the symptoms you did so I don't have much advice to offer other than to say that I do think you need to see a doc as soon as you can. I hate that insurance doesn't kick in til the 1st. I am so sorry you are suffering so much and I wish you the very best. Keep us posted, okay?

See your doctor asap. My pain specialist has told me that any loss of motor skills (your tripping over your feet) is a sign that things are serious and need to be looked into. Best of luck to you!

Google dermatone map. That will show you where the nerves in the back correlate to the limbs. The lower back affects the feet & lower body and the neck the arms & upper body. It sounds like you've got some serious pinched nerves going on especially in the low back to cause your foot to act that way. Definitely go to the Dr & get some imaging done to see what's happening. I assume by the 1st you meant March so I'm hoping you have insurance now. BTW spasms are your body's way of protecting itself. You tensing your shoulders was probably a sign that something was starting in your neck.

You should see a doctor if your tripping over your feet due to the condition you have. I would call your insurance and ask them if they can make an exception to your needs. Sometimes they will but it's worth a try.

Have you had an EMG / NCS of your leg, low back, upper body to see if you have muscle and/or nerve damage; and if so, to what extent?

did you go tot he doc? how did it go? I hope you did, what you are exsplaining sounds similar to foot drop which is nerve related and needs to be taken care of asap:)

I was tripping over my feet and falling to the left all the time. My Dr sent me for an MRI and to see a surgeon. I had cervical disc replacement in Jan of this year. I am feeling a bit better but still have some healing to do. So please get this checked out!!
