Welcome my friend!! I know how you feel, I too have severe pain when standing for 10 minutes, and have spinal stenosis. I don't know why it is, but Water Therapy and pain pills seem to be the only answer I have right now. That, and the Lipoderm Pain patches. Then, I ice my back, and do stretching exercises sitting down.
Maybe talking to your Pain management dr will enable them to give you some ideas. Have you ever had a nerve block? That may help too.
