Back Pain Support Group
Back pain is one of the most common reasons people seek medical care. In fact, about 3 in 4 adults will experience back pain during their lifetime! The term back pain includes pain affecting the neck, midback and low back. Acute back pain may begin suddenly with intense pain but typically lasts fewer than three months. Usually, chronic back pain is persistent, steady, and...
I find that it doesn't help to have a cause of your own. And I thought hazing was over and done with in my college days......
I'd give it a try as anything is worth trying. I pray it works for you. You will be a little sore afterwards, so just use ice on the area. Best of luck. God bless. hugs, Lee
I have been seriously abused 85% of the time I have been experiencing this medical issue. I do not need anyone's approval or agreement as I know what has happened to me and what has happened to many, many others in respect to these issues. I am an honest person with absolutely nothing to hide nor anything to gain from bashing anyone else.
I have 3 very awesome docs right now in an awesome pain clinic and it took me 8 yrs to find them. That said it does not take away from what hoops they and I must jump through to satisfy the feds so that I can live some sort of quality of life and my docs can continue their livelihood without unnecessary threats from an agency which knows a lot of nothing about medical issues.
So, if you have taken offense to my truths, I hope you choose to not take offense in the future. It will not hurt me but it cannot be much good for you.
I'm hoping you told your doc about that anxiety and that they're going to give you a good sedative for the procedure, as I have read that most have it along with an analgesic. I also read that if you have not responded well to other treatment, such as diagnostic local anesthesia nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation will probably not work for you. You're asking here on DS, but if I were you I'd also do a thorough search on the internet to read stories from others. That's what makes me feel most comfortable with all this 'pain management'.
Yup, we all sure have to jump thru the hoops just to get medications now and it really sux. If you've read all of above and are still 'willing' to do this procedure, then I'm hoping that this will actually give you some pain relief and perhaps you won't even need so many meds. Best to you.
