I have major back issues. I get spinal blocks at least once a year for the intense pain in my middle back just so that I can walk. It takes a series of three spinal shots, and the usually last several months.
I finished my last series of shots in early December and all seemed well. But the week before Christmas, I rear-ended someone and totaled my car. My back pain is, well, back. Just like I never got the shots at all. I don't know what to do. I have fibromyalgia too, and my primary care doc wants me to see a chiropractor. I said no...I cannot handle a geltle touch on my back most days.
I am at a loss. Is this normal? What next? Can I get another block or is it too soon?

Do you have a neurologist? If you do, have you consulted your neuro regarding you re-injuring your back? A neuro may be able to determine the extent of any additional damage & recommend a solution- perhaps even shots once again.
