I had a minor accident 9 years ago and I still have crazy crazy pain, I get flare ups all the time, sometimes it gets so bad I throw up, pass out or go into seizures....yet the doctors do not know why.\
All they know is I now have epilepsy and blood pressure issues and I get knots in the muscles in my back all the time that cause my joints to lock up.
My other friend was a very serious accident on his motor cycle at the age of 60 (30 years older than me at the time) he broke his pelvis, collar bone and injured his back and 6 months later he was good as new.
I guess your body will determine when you are better. The importance is to do they physiotherapy, don't over due it but make sure you do exercise.

I hope you get answers and feel better soon!!!
