pamela makes the best cookies, brownies, and pancakes. they are my absolute favorite. i worked at a health food store for 6 months last year. i've tried everything and this brand is fantastic! enjoy!

I had epidurals in 1999 and 2000. I have been told that I have arachnoiditis because of injections, discogram and spinal taps. I can not stress how much this hurts or have changed my life for the worse. It is rare but is out there. Talk with your doc before having any more injections or surgeries about arachnoiditis. I cannot express enough what this has done. I am not saying that everyone has it because of surgeries but it is information that is important.It takes a radiologist and neurologist that knows what they are looking at to know. It is something that I wish everyone knew of. It is very hard having something rare. I did read somewhere that there has not been much improvement. Anytime that you put a forgein object in your spine it will not got away. It stays there. I wish that I knew that then. Maybe you have had better luck. I would not wish this on anyone.

My Hubby had two epidurals before he finally had surgery. We waited in the hospital with a full room of patients waiting for their epidurals. My husband asked them how many they each have had and if it worked. Almost all of them thought it didn't work much at all. Some of the older ladies had been getting them for years! Personally if my back gets that bad I am not going to allow the epidural. But then again, my husband's surgeon is much more up to date on treatments then the first guy he had. I am lucky to have a great Doc.

I was talking to my pm doc thursday and he told me that he wanted to do injections again on my back. I told him that there was noone going to touch my back again. He said that back when I had the injections they used an oil based med. I knew that. He said that they have made advancements since then. I told him that he was still not going to touch my back. I noticed the date on the post. I was wondering how it went. Please let me know if you happen to notice my reply.

Tried the chocolate cake mix, my husband thought it was better than many gluten versions.

I have done the choc cake, the choc chip cookies, and the brownie mix--absolutely the best!
And yes the cake is better than regular flour cake. It is awesome and so easy to make, everything! What a great thing for us GF people. An awesome treat!

I just made the scones on the back of her flour mix. YUMMY! My family loved them.

I have made the muffins on the back of the baking mix bag, used honey and added cut up canned peaches...TO DIE FOR!!!! Great for breakfasts and I would recommend freezing them as the tops get slightly gummy if put in a baggie...their bread mix (for the bread machine) is the best bread I have had since going GF...Pamela's is a MUST!!!!

I use her bread mix to make my gravies. Her pancake mix...the Best! Cake mix and cookies

I made an awesome cake using Pamela's Chocolate Cake Mix.

HERSHEY BAR CAKE
1 bag Pamela's gf chocolate cake mix
1 small box of instant vanilla pudding
3 eggs
1-1/2 cups milk

Mix all ingredients well. Pour into three 8" or 9" greased pans. Bake at 350 deg. for 23 minutes. Cool for one hour before icing.

ICING
8 ounces of cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup confectioners (powdered) sugar
16 ounce tub of Cool Whip
4 Hershey Bars with Almonds

Finely crush the candy bars either with a food processor or putting in a ziplock bag and breaking up in pieces with hammer.
"THE CANDY CRUSHES BETTER IF IT IS FROZEN"

Cream sugars and cream cheese together. Add Cool Whip and 3 crushed Hershey Bars. Mix well. Spread icing between layers and top and sides of cake. Garnish with one crushed Hershey bar or slivers of almonds.
Keep refrigerated.
My husband and the ladies of my Bible study group loved this cake.
