I'm sorry you are hurting so bad. Question. Are you able to sit, or stand to relieve the comfort?

I have this too and i have a narrowing of something in lower back but i can not sit in a chair for long i have to sit to one side or the pain makes me cry too. I just ice. Hope you feel better and ice.

I use an inversion table for short term relief, but if you are young I would advise implementing some stretches into your daily routine in order to loosen up your spine and keep it flexible. I've heard many people swear by yoga. It's good for your mind and your body.

I am sorry for you pain. You need to go to a doctor to see if it is you back or something else. I use an ice pack during the day, it helps with the pain.

I'm sorry you have to go through this pain. Anytime I see the words "horrible pain" and "kidney" I immediately think of kidney stones. I've had a ton of them and believe me the word"horrible" is too nice a word to describe kidney stone pain. Pleas see you doctor as soon as possible.

pokerpro8.... I like my inversion table to. Strange thing, though, I get nausea when I use it. Do you get nausea during, and shortly after, inverting?? Mind you, I love roller coasters... so I don't get the nausea?!

It could definitely be a kidney stone, or infection, or scoliosis... you need to see a doc and do some tests. If it's just muscle pain you could get medication/therapy for that. Hope it's nothing serious and you get it resolved soon!

Hope you feel better soon and get it sorted out. Pain can be very scary but it's your body's way of saying something and it's usually very fixable.
Go to the doctor's, find out and get better.

You can look at the info below but it's so much easier to see the doctor and not scare the dickens out of yourself reading about "possibly".

Don't think it a kidney stone, or infection or scoliosis, but seeing a doctor is a very good idea because it's usually easily treatable as Stargone mentioned.

NOT kidney stones or you would be screaming when pushing your finger on the kidney area and you'd have a fever, vomiting, having to pee a LOT.

I've had an infected kidney which is bad enough but easily cured with antibiotics... and if you had kidney stones, you would be running, not walking to the emerg.

" Sudden, severe pain that gets worse in waves. Stones may cause INTENSE pain in the back, side, abdomen, groin, or genitals. People who have had a kidney stone often describe the pain as "the worst pain I've ever had and nausea, vomiting, fever, chills.

Also " Frequent and painful urination, which may occur when the stone is in the ureter or after the stone has left the bladder and is in the urethra. Painful urination may occur when a urinary tract infection is also present."

Don't think it's an Infection or you'd have a fever, bad nausea, possible vomiting and the chills if it got far enough to cause you the pain you're describing.

Scoliosis, I have scloliosis and it definitely does NOT sound like scoliosis as it would be an slightly annoying pain at worse and not bad at all. Plus if it was scoliosis bad enough to cause the pain you're speaking of your spine would be shaped like a very obvious letter "S".
