I'm new to this forum and have been in pain over the last two and a half months. An MRI revealed two bulging discs at L3 and L4 which are causing me pain and cramping in my right glute, entire right leg, numbness, aching and some burning sensations. It's really strange because some days are better than others. I can't sit at all because it's so painful. The pain has gotten worse, then better then worse. I don't know what to do! I am going to try a spinal shot to see if it helps this coming week. Almost no position in bed is comfortable. Has anyone else had this experience with bulging discs? I am going to chiropractor and physical therapy for a couple weeks now but not sure if this is helping. I'm just scared!

Please research the injections before getting them. The FDA just issued warnings for them last week. If it's cortisone it may bring relief when it lowers the inflammation and takes some pressure off the nerve.
Look up a dermatome map & see how the nerves work and what parts of the body they affect. Back pain & nerve pain is a bugger. You just gotta keep trying and hope you find something that helps.
