I also get a very unpleasant tingling/tickling nose if someone stands and speaks very close to the back of my head. This is not impacted by migraine.
To be honest I've never heard of anyone who is only partially sensitive to sound like you're describing. Maybe what you have is some kind of PTSD, because I don't know how the sound over very loud bagpipes played in unison could be pleasant to anyone with sound sensitivity.
Is it possible that you only find sounds painful when the source of them is an annoyance to you?
