I have stopped vaccinating my autistic son, and my wife and I are not vaccinating our newborn. We have done extensive testing on our firstborn which showed certain genetic susceptibilities to vaccines (preservatives and every other viral thing they conatin). With our newborn being a male, that increases the possibilities of similar susceptibilities, so we are not taking any chances. We do realize this may go against requirements for school and licensed daycares, but there are always ways around that. Every state has vaccination exemption forms that are in three basic categories: medical, religious, and philosophical. The philosophical exemption is typically the easiest but not all states have it. Most states do have religious and medical exemptions, and of those two, the religious is usually easier. Each state has different vaccination exemption requirements. About the chicken pox (Varicella) shot. Studies have shown that of the children who do get chicken pox, the future immmunity is just as strong for those who do vaccinate versus those who don't. And it rarely (chicken pox, not the vaccine), if ever, hs serious cmplications. Good Luck, hope this helps.

My 10yr old just got his Flu shot. The new vaccinations do not have preservatives in them. You need to make sure your doctor marks your file as Preservative free or Theromsil Free Shots Only. Otherwise I had no problem with the shots good luck!

Good point Alicia about the Thimerosal free flu shots. I have to even take it a step further. Since my son's immune system is so out of balance (TH2 shift), I can't give him anything with any sort if viral component. His titers were so high that his DAN! doctor said that he would be protected for many lifetimes. His immune and detox systems have not excreted any of his immunizations he's ever received, so it wouldn't make any sense to give him any more, which is why I went for a medical exemption. It's not just not Thimerasol either. Mercury was replaced in many cases with aluminum, and aluminum has been connected to Alzheimer's and shown to increase the permeability of the blood-brain barrier. The preservatives they do use are pretty scary, but some of the common vaccinations don't have any of these preservatives. It's all pretty confusing.
