We had a car accident on Friday and both boys were with us.Of course they were both very frightened but did not seem to be hurt.
Now Jose has started going back on his potty training.He urinated on himself twice at school yesterday.His teacher got very upset about it because she said she asked him if he needed to go and he told her no.I reminded her of his problems and told her that I would send extra clothes from now on and told her that I wanted her to call me if anything like this happened again.From talking to her I got the inpression she may have fussed at him and I am not happy about it.
Any way I have called his dr and told them about the accident and what is now going on with him.He has an appt tomorrow.
He is also now afraid to get in the car and go to town.He is OK to ride to his bus stop but gets really upset if we go any further.
Any suggestions on how to help him deal with all this?

I'm not a doctor or anything, just a person with ASD myself, so this is my guess. So even if my advice is useless, I hope your child gets back on track with the PT (my girl with Down Syndrome also regressed - so frustrating). Hope everything is alright.
