Okay, this is a rant, but I think I deserve it. I received Harrisons urinary porphyrins test results last night. They revealed mild to moderate levels of mercury, aluminum, lead, and arsenic. The highest levels were mercury, where the amount has a mercury toxic effect on body physiology. Half of the abnormalities were attributed to toxic levels of mercury. I dont know how to say this nicely, but it really pisses me off! To see the numbers, charts, and graphs reaffirms what I have long believed: vaccines, and their preservatives (mercury/Thimerosal) have caused most (or all) of Harrisons autistic symptoms. I dont want to stir up the vaccine debate in here again; Ive seen how nasty that can get. What I do want to do is let people know its real. Mercury can and does have toxic effects on a young childs body. I dont know how anybody can say that its not vaccines. If it wasnt, how else could so much mercury have ended up in my sons system? Theres no other explanation other than through vaccines (which were injected directly into his bloodstream). The most frequent words in the results were created an index of mercury toxic effect or an additional index of specific mercury toxicity or constitute a marker of heavy metals (mercury) toxicity

When is the big lie and the biggest injustice in medical history going to end? When are these people going to admit they were wrong and move on? When are they going to take steps to renew public confidence in what they do? Like I said, I dont care what anybody says. I know what happened to my son, and I have the test results to prove it. I know that mercury levels (introduced through vaccines) was a key factor in his autistic symptoms.

What am I going to do next? Should I seek compensation through the vaccine courts? Hell no. Those people dont deserve anymore of my time. It would take years and thousands of dollars of lawyer fees to do this, and there is a little boy who needs me right now, and I will be there for him, without question. I love him way too much to give him any less of my time. He is the one who suffers from this pharmaceutical injustice, but as long as theyre still turning a profit, what do they care? So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to work harder than ever to help my son past this. I'm going to work as hard as he does on a daily basis, so we, together, can give all the naysayers and government pharmapuppets (CDC) a nice, big, super-sized crap burger to eat!!

I understand why you would not want to sue for damages....instead you should bug your congressmen to death to take action. This being said, I want to remind everyone that there are different causes for autism. In my son's case it is genetic and birth trauma. Good luck as you continue to fight for yoru son.

jordan, what a wonderful dad you are! just remember this, miracles do happen, they do! i have witnessed a few in the past few yrs, i had a nephew born much too early, weighed in at a whopping 1lb8oz, and lived! Adam is also living proof of miracles. I have a feeling your son will join that list very soon! keep doing what your doing, it wont be long, once he starts learning, or should i say, once everyone starts learning to teach him in the way that he learns, visual, hand over hand, verbal ques, ect., you will see a huge sudden spurt of growth in him, not just in his size but in his ways, i have found that the more i keep Adam around typical kids the better he gets. the more i treat him like i do any other child his age, the better he gets, you keep fighting for your son, you are one in a million and i must say, it kind of felt good to read a vent from you, i cant explain it, it just seems like you needed to release and you did, something lots of men wont do, but your not a typical dad, your much more involved and your wife is the luckiest woman in the world! i think you should start a group just for dads with kids that have any kind of disability, maybe it will help more dads get informed, which would not only benefit the children but us moms too, that need more dads like you to help us out!

jordan, you are such a great dad, my husband isnt supportive at all and your wife and children are so very lucky to have you. just as priscila said miracles do happen, everyday, we have had a few in our lives too, my daughter being spared when she was 3 was 100% a miracle so you know if that can happen anything can and i will always hope for a miracle for my son, i always hope for a miracle for all these wonderful children. one of my old friends has a son with moderate to severe case and now, hes doing so well, he will make and keep eye contact and hold a conversation, socializes well and hes not as sensitive to loud noises or crowds as he was before. his mom and dad both along with other family have all worked together to help him become a great young man. he is now in middle school and makeing good grades, and keep in mind hes in a normal class but has a helper with him everyday. keep holding onto hope for a good future and have faith that it will happen. sometimes we can make our own miracles.

Wow...unbelievable test results. I would be pissed too. I too agree with the whole vaccination theory and believe strongly that is what caused my little Ben's autism. We did do all of the genetic testing and everything came back normal. What an amazing father you are for continuing to fight for Harrison. He is one lucky little boy. Question: Was the "porphyrins test" done after chelation or can you have the test performed at any time? We have not started chelation yet, but will be soon. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks much.

I think the doctor prescribed the porphyrins test to see the levels of toxins in my son. That determines how aggressive she will seek detox. I think that throughout detox, they continue to monitor levels through urine tests, fecal metal tests, etc. My son's doctor also tested his liver enzymes because the liver can get a little stressed during detox (along with the kidney). Just make sure your doctor is experienced in using chelating agents. I'm going to use some homeopathics from the first doctor I worked with that will help the flow of toxins through the kidney, liver, and one that thins the bile in the gall bladder, all of which will help with detox.

There are reports out now which support this. Shots which have more than one vaccine in it use these preservatives. request single shot vaccines. No flu vaccines. Flue vaccines are for several strains of flue and containe mercery. We live in Denver, and use Littleton Pediatric. They only use single shot vaccines, but may do three shots in one visit. This can be bad too. Lots of luck. May your son recover compleatly.

Being that his immune system is so out of whack and the same goes for his detox system, he's getting no more vaccines. He still hasn't cleared any vaccine he's gotten; they're still cooking in his immune system.

Realize that while some of the mercury was obviously from the vaccines, many of our kids mouth their toys. There has been a big problem with toys like Mattel and Fischer Price having lead in them. Our kids get a lot of lead exposure which can also cause neuro-cognitive problems. Make sure any toys you get for your kids are not coming from China. I would take the time to go through all toys, and while not much can be done about past exposures, over time, if the kids are not getting re-exposed, the metals won't dissipate, but the ratio in their body will change as they grow and develop so it will impact them less.

For proponents of chelation therapy, it also has risks of brain damage, so research your options carefully.

The form of chelation therapy that poses any risk to the brain is ALA (alpha lipoic acid). This is the only chelating agent that can cross the blood-brain barrier. The reason they use this is because some metals can get past the blood-brain barrier too, and they need something to get rid of it. His lead levels (which were only very slightly elevated) were nowhere near the levels of mercury, and unless Harrison ate a few dozen tons of fish, there's no other way (other than the mercury that was in vaccines) that so much mercury could have ended up in his system. The test result summary only mentioned mercury as being enough to have neurological effects. The medical practice I am taking Harrison to now is very experienced in using chelating agents, which is one of the main reasons I chose them.
